Adhesion ReLease Method
Have you had Chronic pain for 6+ months? Or been to more than 2-3 Dr.'s or Therapists with no relief
What are ADHESIONS?
Adhesions are the hidden cause of Chronic Pain. Think of Adhesions like sticky fibrous glue that builds up on your muscles and nerves binding them down leading to tightness, weakness, and loss of mobility.
How are Adhesions released?
We locate the adhesions through testing and palpating the area. Then apply 5-7 lbs of pressure down with our thumb or fingers to break up the adhesion, these locations can be close to the nerve and are generally sensitive. However, these passes, when done right, are seemingly effective.
What does the process look like?
After the appt made, we will reach out and confirm that you are a candidate for Adhesion Release Treatments. Your initial intake appointment includes an exam/assessment, measurements, and palpations. Then upon my findings I will do treatment on the area that I find is best.
What do I wear to my appointments?
Please wear loose fitting shorts that can be pulled over the glute area. Avoid long sleeve shirts and long pants. This allows for easy movement assessment and access to key muscle groups .
What may I experience in a session and after a session?
In your session, every treatment is tailored to address the restriction. This requires pressure by the provider placed on the client on the specific area and movement of a certain part of the body to achieve a release. This can be done with or without an assistant.
you may experience mild muscle soreness and light bruising,, particularly if deeper techniques were part of your session.
How many appointments will I need to notice a difference?
People in chronic pain have been dealing with their specific issue for a while. Like an onion, each treatment will be peeling a layer off hoping to see improvements in range of motion, pain reduction, and less tension. We suggest a moderate to severe case to be at least 12-16 treatments.
